Consider the unique keepsake box. At our shop, a keepsake box is made out of the most exclusive types of wood we can find including various types of unique and figured woods like bird’s eye maple, crotch-grain walnut, sugar maple, beech, old growth Douglas fir, and rough sawn walnut.
 
The boxes are 4 inches deep, 7 inches long, and 5 inches tall and can be used to store recipes, jewelry, keys, nicknacks, and all kinds of special treasures. One of these keepsake boxes would also make a beautiful engagement ring case or gift for a loved one.

The boxes displayed in the pictures were made from various beech and sugar-maple trees from the hills of Maine. The sugar maple trees that our handcrafted keepsake box was made from were tapped for sweet, maple syrup. What a unique history for such a little box!
