This headboard was designed to preserve the history of a local Iowan family. Materials used for the headboard were gathered from the family’s barn and corn crib. By reclaiming boards with pencil markings and engravings carved on the inside of the barn grainery and corn crib walls we preserved the unique stories behind the family’s history.
